Herbal Education and Care Consultations

by Peregrine Bermas

Dirt & Free Herbal Arts is a reclamation of self as earth; a story of making home across oceans and borders, and in urban areas where the soil is said to be depleted.

Dirt is a technical term for soil without nutrients - but to Burdock, who can pull nutrients from a deeper source, dirt is possibility, futurism, and play space.

Dirt & Free is the ache that reverberates among so many of us who have felt disbelonging from land, culture and story.

Dirt & Free is an affirmation and reminder to move in freedom — not just towards it.

Dirt & Free Herbal Arts specializes in seasonal place-based herbal remedies and pantry provisions, interweaving diasporic traditions of my ancestral homelands and culturally responsive blends to build access, connection and education on multiple levels.

Herbs are thoughtfully sourced and grown as locally as possible.

Dirt & Free Herbal Arts uses 100% recyclable, compostable and/or reusable packaging and shipping materials.

Beyond treating physical symptoms, the products are invitations into tending interconnection, reciprocity, abundance and deep listening in a world on fire.
